Phillip Quintana, MD

grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed his residency in family medicine at the Southern Colorado Family Medicine Residency in Pueblo where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Quintana has been in practice in Aurora since 1986. Prior to this, he served as a faculty member at his residency program. His interests include preventive medicine, sports medicine, and he especially enjoys working with young families. He continues to teach medical students and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Rick Tormohlen, MD

is a Colorado native who earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed his residency in family medicine at Swedish Medical Center. During residency, he served as chief resident and earned the Award for Excellence in Patient Education two years in a row. He has been board-certified in family medicine since 1997 and is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He also mentors medical students through the Foundations of Doctoring program at the CU School of Medicine.

Dr. Tormohlen enjoys helping patients to pursue their goals in staying healthy, and especially delights in working with children and their parents. Experienced in sports medicine, he can help weekend warriors, competitive athletes, or anyone in between. He seeks to know and treat the whole person– physical, emotional, social, and spiritual.

Rick lives in Aurora with Kate, his bride of over 25 years, and four of his six children, two of whom are now married with families of their own. He enjoys woodworking, mountain biking, disc golf, music, reading and spending time with his family. He is an active member of Sovereign Grace Church in Aurora.

Melissa Chik, PA-C 

was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She played college soccer and did her pre-med education at Lake Forest College in Illinois. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in biology, she attended the Physician Assistant Program at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She completed the intense 27 month PA program at the top of her class. Her special interests are in sports medicine, preventive care, diabetes and orthopedics. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, family and friends. She continues to play soccer every chance she gets and spends the winters snowboarding.

Michelle Foster, PA-C

is from Littleton, Colorado. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a double major in Integrative Physiology and Psychology.  She graduated in May of 2014 from Bethel University in Tennessee with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Her previous experience includes working in primary care, with a focus on establishing strong patient-provider relationships and caring for patients with chronic and complex medical histories.  She and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters.

Emily Good, PA-C

grew up in the sunny Florida Keys.  She recently moved to Denver where she is looking forward to exploring Colorado; hiking, skiing and trying out new restaurants.  Emily earned her Bachelor or Arts in Biology and Chemistry at Florida State University.  She then went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Savannah, Georgia.  Emily enjoys the variety of opportunities that Family Medicine offers and strives to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients.
